Our Mission

To improve the lives of Central Texans living with, at risk for, and affected by HIV, AIDS and Hepatitis C through outreach, education, health and holistic services, and care coordination.

 

Our Vision

Everyone in our community affected by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C will experience an improved quality of life.

  • Removing barriers to medical adherence

  • Connecting clients with support to move beyond crisis towards self-sufficiency

  • Educating clients/community and reaching out to others on the value and importance of testing and prevention

 

Key Tactics

  • Developing resources for obtaining medical care and treatment, transportation and housing

  • Utilizing proven case management practices carried out by licensed/experienced professionals

  • Sponsoring an HIV/AIDS support group for mental, emotional and social well-being

  • Making complementary therapies accessible to mitigate pain and the effects of medicine and stress

  • Recruiting attendees for prevention programs where they live and do business

  • Using evidenced based community- and group-level interventions to change behavior

  • Teaching the need for and use of preventive measures

  • Obtaining, providing and distributing prevention supplies

 

92% of every donated dollar supports programs and services provided to our clients and the community.

 

The Wright House Wellness Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C Disease Management and Disease Prevention programs to people living in the Austin Transitional Grant Area (TGA) - Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. Services are provided at either no- or low-cost and eligibility is determined by service. No one is refused services due to inability to pay.
