Position: MAI Case Manager – Spanish bilingual
(grant funded – through 02/28/11)
Reports To: Lead Case Manager
Location/Department: 4301-B North IH-35/Disease Management
Qualifications or Skill Required: 1-3 years experience in social services; must speak Spanish and English; experience and/or knowledge of HIV/AIDS; ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously; high degree of interpersonal competency; effective in developing rapport with individuals; ability to work well together with a diverse group of community partners and peers; excellent oral, written, and computer skills.
Responsibilities: Provide services to African American and Latino HIV+ clients under the Minority AIDS Initiative Program (MAI) – Case Management and some Outreach - to ensure successful linkage to primary HIV medical care, retention in services and adherence to treatment regimen. Assist Medical Case Managers with high need clients as assigned. Document all activities as necessary.

The Wright House Wellness Center offers care and compassion to Central Texans living with or at risk of HIV and other chronic illnesses and provides resources for support, education and empowerment.
The Wright House Wellness Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing Disease Management and Disease Prevention and Education programs to people living in Travis, Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays or Williamson County. Services are provided at either no- or low-cost and eligibility is determined by service.
